Terms of Use

Last updated: September 6, 2026

By using synquup.com, you agree to these Terms of Use.

What SynquUp is

SynquUp is an education, navigation, and linkage-to-care platform. We help people find healthcare and community resources through our Care Navigator, Health Hubs, resource directory, and related tools. SynquUp does not provide medical, legal, or insurance advice, and using the site does not create a doctor-patient, clinician-patient, or other healthcare-provider relationship with SynquUp.

Permitted use

You may use SynquUp for personal, non-commercial educational and navigational purposes. You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to access it in unauthorized ways, submitting false information, or using it to harass or harm others.

Health information and directory results

Educational content, Care Navigator results, and directory listings are provided for informational purposes. See the Medical Disclaimer, Resource & Provider Directory Disclaimer, Clinical Trials Disclaimer, and Copay Assistance Disclaimer, which are incorporated into these Terms.

Sponsored content

Some content on SynquUp is sponsored. Sponsored material is labeled as described in our Advertising & Sponsorship Disclosure and our Editorial & Sponsorship Independence Policy, both incorporated into these Terms.

Intellectual property

The SynquUp name, logo, site design, original educational content, and database organization are owned by SynquUp or used with permission and may not be copied or redistributed without authorization. SynquUp™ is used as a trademark while registration is pending.

Age requirement

SynquUp is intended for use by individuals 18 years of age or older. By using this site, you represent that you are at least 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we may terminate that account and remove associated content. Parents or guardians seeking resources for a minor should contact us directly rather than having the minor use the site themselves, particularly the Community Blogs.

Termination of access

We may suspend or terminate your access to any part of SynquUp — including Community Blogs, an account, or Marketplace access — at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, without prior notice. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) continue to apply after termination.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SynquUp, LLC, its owners, employees, and contributors harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: your violation of these Terms; your use of the site in a way that harms another person; content you submit; or your violation of any law or third-party right. This obligation survives termination of your use of the site.

No warranties; limitation of liability

SynquUp is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that any resource, provider, program, or piece of information is current, complete, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SynquUp is not liable for damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on information found here.

Dispute resolution — binding arbitration

You and SynquUp agree to resolve disputes through individual binding arbitration, not in court, and not as part of a class or representative action.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of SynquUp will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.

Class action waiver. Disputes must be brought on an individual basis only. Neither you nor SynquUp may bring a claim as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims and may not preside over any form of a class or representative proceeding.

Opting out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to chuck@synquup.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating that you decline to be bound by the arbitration provision. If you opt out, disputes will instead be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

The arbitration will take place in California, or another mutually agreed location, or may be conducted remotely or by written submission where permitted by the AAA’s rules.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the policies and disclaimers they incorporate by reference (Privacy Policy, Medical Disclaimer, Resource & Provider Directory Disclaimer, Clinical Trials Disclaimer, Copay Assistance Disclaimer, Advertising & Sponsorship Disclosure, Editorial & Sponsorship Independence Policy, User-Submitted Content Terms, and Marketplace Vendor Terms and Marketplace Disclosure where applicable), constitute the entire agreement between you and SynquUp regarding your use of the site, superseding any prior communications or representations on the same subject.

Assignment

We may assign these Terms, in whole or part, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, without your consent. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent.

Force majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disaster, war, pandemic, internet or utility failures, or actions of third-party service providers (including Lulu, Printful, or our hosting provider).

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
